  I met Suzan, the owner, at a local restaurant and pocketed her card. Months later, I came in as a "first stop" in looking for an engagement ring. I had been doing months worth of research and I knew almost exactly what I was looking for.
  
  I initially expected that the "local jeweler" would have great service but be completely overpriced, as I had experienced in many other situations. But to my surprise, Suzan had incredible quality stones, was competitively priced and was very easy to work with.
  
  After seeing the crap diamonds that many "respectable" jewelers sell, it was quite refreshing to run into someone who really loves their craft; and a jewelry store owner who selects individual stones herself.
  
  We ended up designing an absolutely amazing ring, at a very, very competitive price. The setting was cast in platinum, the side stones were very high quality and individually set and the center stone was an absolute stunner! But best of all was Suzan. Her impeccable attention to detail, simple explanations, great communication and keeping to established budgets and timetables made this an unbelievably low stress and pleasurable process.
  
  Regardless of what you want to spend, I could not possibly offer a higher recommendation for Suzan or AK Fine Jewelry!
