    I was seen by doctor Alavi regarding repetitive infections of my tonsils (Tonsillitis). I have had this problem since I was a kid. After assessing my tonsils in his office, he recommended they be removed because they were too large for my age. In addition, they were porous allowing food to get stuck where bacteria could grow causing infections. After a thorough explanation of my problem, he went further to explain the procedure (tonsillectomy), what to expect during and after the procedure, the risks and benefits. What amazed me about Dr. Alavi was his concern for my well-being and his follow up with me after the procedure. As a patient of Dr. Alavi, I would definitely recommend this doctor to my friends and family members. I am very pleased with the care that was provided to me by Dr. Alavi. He truly cares about his patients and is very patient with them. Thank you, Dr. Alavi for taking care of me.
